You will not normally need to prepare extensive professional documents or visit the port in person. Depending on the shipment, HomeBridge and the logistics team prepare or coordinate documents such as:
Commercial invoice
Packing list
Bill of lading
Product declaration information
Country-of-origin information
HS codes and other required documents
Different countries may require the consignee to provide certain basic information, identification, tax details, or authorisation documents. The logistics team will advise you in advance, and your project manager will assist with communication.
If customs requires additional documentation, we help organise product information and communicate with the freight forwarder. You do not need to repeatedly pass information between HomeBridge, factories, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and trucking companies.
